Vehicle hijacking is one of the main crimes threatening people in South Africa. We developed a course for PC Tactical where people can learn more about how this crime is conducted and what elementary precautions one can take to protect ourselves.
Since it is a very text heavy course, we used media and interactivity to keep the users engaged.
Our goal when building this course was curating content and then communicating it in a way that the learner understands and ultimately can apply. We also wanted the learners to pull the information rather than information being presented to them in linear fashion. Labelled graphics helped us achieve our goal.
Another goal for this course was to prepare learners to make right decisions in the real world. So we used real world scenarios where the learner could decide which option to choose and then receive appropriate feedback.
